Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HouTV (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.

2. Creators and content

Creators retain ownership of the videos and content they upload. By uploading, you grant HouTV a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, stream, and display that content to operate the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload and for complying with all applicable laws.

3. Memberships and payments

Fans may purchase monthly memberships to creators. Payments are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe's terms. HouTV charges creators a platform fee as described on the Fees page. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and retain access through the end of the current billing period.

4. Refunds

Except where required by law, membership payments are generally non-refundable. Refund and dispute requests are handled through Stripe and, where applicable, the creator.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload illegal content, infringe others' rights, harass or abuse others, distribute malware, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or circumvent membership access controls. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HouTV is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid to HouTV in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, communicated to you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
